Established in 2025, Newham After School Club provides high-quality childcare for primary school children in East London. We bridge the gap between school and home for busy working parents, offering a safe, stimulating environment where children can learn, play and develop.
We work in partnership with several local primary schools across Newham, with convenient pickup services and specially designed programmes that complement the school curriculum while focusing on fun.

Which schools do you serve?
We currently offer pickup services from Britannia Village Primary, Hallsville Primary, Scott Wilkie Primary, Star Primary, and Keir Hardie Primary. We're located centrally in Canning Town with easy access for parents.
What are your operating hours?
We operate Monday to Friday from school closing time (around 3:15 PM) until 6:00 PM during term time. Holiday clubs run from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays during school breaks.
Do you provide snacks?
Yes, we provide a healthy snack after school, typically including fresh fruit, vegetables, and a light carbohydrate option. During holiday clubs, parents provide packed lunches but we offer morning and afternoon snacks.
How do I register my child?
Complete our online registration form or visit us in person to fill out the paperwork. We'll need emergency contact details, medical information, and collection authorizations. After registration, you can book sessions online.
Do you accept childcare vouchers?
Yes, we accept all major childcare vouchers and are registered with the government Tax-Free Childcare scheme. We also work with local authority funding for eligible families. Speak to our admin team for details.
What is your staff-to-child ratio?
We maintain a 1:8 ratio for children aged 5-7 and 1:10 for children aged 8-11, exceeding Ofsted requirements. All our staff are DBS checked, first aid trained, and have relevant childcare qualifications.
